A visit from Yih-Chyuan and Aming

Yih-Chyuan, his wife Aming Huang and their two children, Iris and Jimmy, visited us this weekend, June 26,27, and 28. Yih-Chyuan (English name Joe) was a graduate student at Northwestern University during our time there - Bill was VP of the University. While in the US, Yih-Chyuan found and married Aming, a graduate of the Pratt Art Institute. Taiwan was their place of birth but they have become US citizens and have two children who are, of course, US citizens. They live in Evanston, IL and have remained close friends since we took Yih-Chyuan "under our wing" when he first arrived in the US. Upon hearing about Bill's illness, they drove to CO for a brief visit. We spent Saturday at Beth and Matt's home in the beautiful foothills of the Rocky Mountains. It was a good and quiet time to "catch-up".
