Some of Bill and Betty's long time friends are Don and Dot Wortman. Bill and Don worked together in the federal government in 1960's and the two couples have kept in touch ever since. Don and Dot retired to Albuquerque, NM, several years ago and the two couples have visited each other's homes often over the years. When Don and Dot heard about Dad's circumstances, they immediately planned a visit to Boulder and this week they arrived on Thursday afternoon for a quick overnight visit.
Thursday night, Becca threw together an impromptu dinner for everyone which was a wonderful success. Although Dad isn't eating a lot of heavy food now, he had a great time socializing and reintroducing Don and Dot to his extended family.
